I’ve always known I wanted to be a writer. From the moment I could put pen to paper, it was the only thing that felt right to me. There’s something so incredible about how thousands of tiny squiggles can conjure entire worlds in our head. I knew I wanted a part in making universes people could find themselves lost inside.
That love of words led me to pursue a degree in Dramatic Writing at Savannah College of Art and Design in 2018, with a double minor in Creative and Advertising Copywriting. I wanted to get as much of the written word as possible in my life. I was the recipient of the Jeff Arch Fellowship in 2020, and I’ve been working as a freelance content writer for various companies since the beginning of 2021. I’ve written short stories, poems, TV and movie scripts, an XR script, a podcast, and much more.
The world can be a scary place, but I know stories have always brought people together. I hope to bring a little hope with my writing, no matter which format that might be in. My faith is a big part of who I am and I strive to incorporate it into my work, whether I’m writing a fantastical family story or a coming-of-age sci-fi tale.
